The historical record about ionized calcium
|
The alchemical projects of Taoism could trace back to the alchemist of pre-Qin Dynasty in China. According to Historical Records, as early as the era of Emperor Huang ,alchemical activities appeared. Emperor Huang casted tripod and refined cinnabars secretly in mountain JING, When obtained Dan, Chinese dragon appeared.
It was recorded in Kuei Tsang that Hou Yi’s wife, Chang E, had stolen the Dan and ate it, then flew to Moon Palace joyfully. While Chinese alchemy was said to be carried forward by Taoist Zhang in mountain dragon, Jiangxi province, Chinese dragon and tiger turned up with the accomplishment of Dan. So it’s no wonder that the projects of alchemy became the main activity of Taoism since the Han Dynasty.

The alchemical Dan in the ancient China is the cinnabar in earth which is the raw material of extracorporeal Dan. Chinese alchemists devoted all their energies looking for various sorts of minerals. There are many famous alchemists in the history of China who eventually also became pharmaceutists, such as Hong Ge in the Jin Dynasty, Hongjing Tao in the Liang, Yuanming Su in the Sui and Simiao Sun in the Tang Dynasty. The knowledge linked to chemistry and pharmaceutics that was needed for alchemy helped the alchemists a lot, which enabled them to complete many masterpieces on medical science. It’s recorded from the tradition of Taoism that the theory of Chinese alchemy can be subdivided into part of extracorporeal Dan and corporeal Dan. |
|
|
| Extracorporeal Dan was made from
mercury and the shell of oyster. While with the guidance of extracorporeal
Dan and temper of essence and energy, corporeal Dan gained. For the
Taoism paid much emphasis on the cultivation of essence, energy and
vitality (three element for life), special notice must be taken of
to conserve, strengthen and nourish the essence, energy and vitality
.As the result of decreptude, the mid-aged who wanted to get themselves
full of essence, energy and vitality paid much attention on replenishing
essence, energy and vitality, hoped to restore the state before sense
cence and become one with the Divine, in order to get to the ideological
realm which is |
careless of live or death .So the Taoism treated essence, energy and vitality as three
kinds of sacred medicine to cultivate the body and the spirit.
As there were separation between extracorporeal Dan and corporeal
Dan, medicine was divided into extracorporeal medicine and corporeal
medicine as well. In the hope of getting Qi -blood vigorous and
flowing without stagnation, meridians and collaterals of the whole
body circulated well. When the body abounded with essence, energy
and vitality, longevity realized and became young again, namely
rejuvenescence.

| It was said in Shennong's Classic
of Materia Medica, which wrote by Hongjing Tao in Northern and Southern
Dynasty, that we triturate oyster and take it uncooked because it
could nourish YIN. Also in Shizhen Li’s Compendium of Materia Medica,
we learned that the powder of clamshell has the same efficacy as
oyster. Both two facture technics need to wash the shell and temper
it till it become hoar, then triturate and take it. Thus the use
of precious medicines was popularized in both folk and curative field. |
This book specially expounds the macro-element calcium because
calcium is the most important chemistry element for organism besides
carbon、hydrogen、nitrogen and oxygen. Calcium is also the chief
element for our life to compose the human tissue、keep natural physiological
function and vital activity such as biochemics and metabolism.
We can see the whole history of Chinese alchemy as the refining
history of calcium, it’s not any exaggerated. Because of calcium’s
belonging to the alkaline earth group, it is able to neutralize
the acid in human bodies and build up alkaline statuses. So it
is far too necessary to exploit the ionic calcium which can be
a thrill in the period of our life. Many monks utilize the ionic
calcium to apprehend the truth through the vacuity. Though the
Buddhism requires its members to practice accompanying suffering,
which usually brings about so much pain even does harm to human
bodies. Some of the monks may can’t help breaking the rules, which
is rather regretful. |

|
| There is a way for them to maintain
their health that is to make full use of fossils of dinosaurs and
shells obtaining from the shore which contain sufficient calcium.
Franking speaking, only the person who is fortunately enough can
share the bliss. So please keep in mind that the raw material to
produce ionized calcium is from the abi- abiotic shell or from the
calcified corallite. It’s indeed a big misapprehension that many
vegetarians think ionized calcium as a meat dish. |
“Medicine stone is medicine stone”. As traditional Chinese
medicinal material, oyster shell is almost listed in every prescription.
We take the ionized calcium to cultivate the body and the spirit
and prolong our lives. What we call the true self-cultivation,
must begin with our mind, anything else is just nonsense. |
